# Understand potential in play

Potential in play is the dollar total Signal shows for the accounts you have scheduled this week. It comes from the same modeled aftermarket potential you set up in Products.

### How it is calculated

Every scheduled account has a modeled yearly aftermarket potential, based on the product lines matched to its installed assets. Signal adds that potential once for each account you have scheduled this week, no matter how many stops you have with them, and shows the total as a compact figure such as $12K or $1.2M.

### Where you see it

* In the week grid footer, alongside the stop and day counts, as "{amount} potential in play this week."
* In the Week itinerary dialog, as "{amount} potential in play."

### Notes

* If no scheduled account has a modeled potential yet, Signal hides the potential line instead of showing $0. Set up potential for your product lines in Products to see this number.
* This feature may not be enabled for your organization. Ask your Zephyr Intel contact.
