# Export assets to CSV

Download assets from Empire View as a CSV file to share or work with in a spreadsheet.

### Export the current page

1. Click **Export** in the toolbar (shown as an icon only on narrower screens; hover to see the label).
2. Signal downloads a file named "Signal\_Assets-YYYY-MM-DD.csv" containing the rows on the page you are viewing, up to 50 assets.

### Export a selection

1. Select the assets you want (see Select rows).
2. Click **Export CSV** in the action bar. This button is hidden on phones.
3. Signal downloads the same kind of file, containing only the assets in your selection that are on the page you are currently viewing.

### Notes

* Both exports always use Signal's default columns, in this order: Serial Number, Brand, Model, Customer, Status, Equipment Type, Last Spare Sale, Facility. This does not change if you hide, show or reorder columns in the Column Customizer.
* Export only covers one page of results at a time, up to 50 assets. If your search or filter matches more than that, narrow it further or export page by page to capture everything.
* If none of your selected assets are on the page you are viewing, Signal shows a message that no matching rows were found instead of downloading an empty file.
