# Read the summary strip

The summary strip is the row of five cards at the top of Empire View, on desktop and tablet screens. It gives you a fleet-wide picture before you search or filter anything.

### The five cards

| Card | Shows | Click behavior |
| ----------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Total Assets** | The total count of assets in your fleet. | Not clickable. |
| **Status Breakdown** | One badge per operating status that has at least one asset, with its count. | Click a status badge to set the Status filter to that status. |
| **Aftermarket Revenue (90d)** | The total value of spare-part sales recorded in the last 90 days. | Not clickable. |
| **Brands** | The top 5 brands by asset count. | Click a brand to filter by it. Click **Show {n} more brand(s)** to open the All Brands window. |
| **Equipment Types** | Every equipment type in your fleet, by count. | Click a type to filter by it. |

### Notes

* The summary strip always counts your whole fleet. It does not change when you apply filters or move between pages of the table. If a card's numbers do not match what you see in the filtered table below, this is why.
* Clicking a status, brand or equipment type replaces any existing filter of that kind with the one you clicked. Your other filters stay in place.
* When there is no data for a card, it shows a dash. The revenue card shows "No orders logged yet" when there are no sales in the last 90 days.
* If your organization's sales data has not been connected, the Aftermarket Revenue card shows "No orders logged yet".

### The All Brands window

Click **Show {n} more brand(s)** in the Brands card to see every brand in your fleet.

* The window title shows the total number of brands and assets.
* The table has columns for **Brand**, **Assets** and **% of Total**. Click a column header to sort by it.
* Click any row to filter Empire View by that brand and close the window.
* Close the window with the X button, by clicking outside it, or by pressing Esc.
