# Quick View sections explained

The Quick View panel opens on the right side of the screen and shows an asset's key details in a few sections. This page explains each one.

> **Screenshot placeholder:** the Quick View panel open on the right of Empire View for an asset that has a BOM and aftermarket activity, scrolled to show Location and Key Dates.

### Header

At the top you see the asset's status badge, serial number, brand, model and equipment type.

### Location

Shows the asset's facility, area, engineer in charge and customer, with a link **Open Customer →** to that customer's page. If the asset belongs to one organization but is owned by another, such as a distributor, this section also shows the owner organization and the owned facility. Any field with no data shows a dash.

### Key Dates

Shows the install date, last maintenance date and last inspection date. Any field with no data shows a dash.

### Operating Summary

Shows flow rate, speed, horsepower, temperature, fluid and voltage in a two-column layout. If none of this data is on file, the section shows "No operating data available".

### BOM

Shows the first parts of the asset's bill of materials as an expandable list, with badges for parts that are obsolete, inactive, or recommended spares. Click **View full BOM** to see the complete list, or **Upload BOM** to add one. If the asset has no bill of materials, the section shows "No BOM data." and a button to upload one.

### Aftermarket Activity

Shows the date of the asset's last recorded spare-part order and the estimated revenue from its sales history. If no sales are recorded for this asset, the section shows "No aftermarket activity". See Why Aftermarket Activity can differ from the Last Spare Sale column for why this can differ from what the table shows.

### Where you see it

Click **Open full detail** at the bottom of the panel to go to the asset's full detail page.
