# Sort and page the table

Empire View sorts and pages the asset list so you can work through large fleets without waiting on a search or filter.

### Sorting

Click a column header to sort by it. Click again to reverse the order, and a third click removes the sort. An arrow in the header shows the current direction.

By default, the table sorts by **Last Spare Sale**, oldest first. Assets with no recorded sale appear at the very top, ahead of the oldest dated sales. This puts the assets you have heard from least recently at the top of the list.

### Paging

The table shows 50 assets per page. Use the **Previous** and **Next** buttons below the table to move between pages. The footer also shows the total number of assets and which page you are on.

### Notes

* While Signal refreshes the list in the background, a thin progress bar appears above the table and the rows dim slightly. You can keep working; the table updates when the refresh finishes.
