# Filter by Last Spare Sale

The Last Spare Sale filter narrows the asset list to assets with a recorded spare-part sale in a date range you choose. How it works depends on whether your organization's sales data is connected.

### How the filter works

With sales data connected, an asset matches this filter only if it has at least one recorded spare-part sale and that sale falls within the date range you chose. This is the same information shown in the Quick View panel's Aftermarket Activity section, so what you see in the filtered list matches what you would see if you opened each asset.

### When the notice appears

If your organization's sales data has not been connected, Signal cannot check individual sales. In that case, the filter falls back to each asset's last-known sale date and shows this notice next to the filter:

"Spare-sales feed unavailable: results use last synced sale date and may not show orders"

If you expect live sales data and still see this notice, ask your Zephyr Intel contact.

### Notes

* The date shown in the table's **Last Spare Sale** column can differ from what the Quick View panel shows for the same asset. See Why Aftermarket Activity can differ from the Last Spare Sale column.
