# Empire View troubleshooting and FAQ

#### Why do I see "No assets found." after opening a link from another page?

A link from another page, such as a customer or analytics page, can arrive with filters already applied, for example a specific customer, brand or serial number list. If nothing in your fleet matches those filters right now, the table shows "No assets found." even though the source page found something. Click **Clear all** in the toolbar to remove the filters and see your full fleet again.

#### Why don't the numbers in the summary strip match what I see in the filtered table?

The five cards at the top of Empire View always count your whole fleet. They do not change when you apply a filter or move between pages. Use the row count in the table's footer to see how many assets match your current filter.

#### Why doesn't the map show any pins?

The map only plots the assets on the table's current page, and it places one pin per customer at that customer's address. If a customer's address has not been located yet, or the current page has no rows, Signal shows "No coordinates yet" instead of pins. Try clicking **Fit to results**, or check a different page of results.

#### Why is a column missing from my CSV export?

Export always uses Signal's default set of columns (Serial Number, Brand, Model, Customer, Status, Equipment Type, Last Spare Sale and Facility), no matter how you have customized your columns in the table. If you need a different column, check the asset's full detail page or add it to your spreadsheet manually.

#### Why is "Save current view" grayed out in the Views menu?

Save current view stays disabled until you apply at least one filter, a search term, a lifecycle toggle, or a sort column. Apply one of these first, and the button becomes active.

#### Why does bulk import say "customer must be a tenant ID, not a name"?

The customer column in a bulk asset import file must contain the customer's organization ID, not its name. This applies even to the example rows in the downloadable template, which use names and will not pass as-is. Replace the value with the correct ID, or ask your administrator for it.

#### An asset I archived from another screen still shows in my list. Why?

Empire View loads your fleet into memory once and keeps working from that copy while you use the page. If someone archives or changes an asset from a different screen or another session, your list will not reflect it until you refresh the page or reload Signal.

#### I got a message that says "Endpoint only accepts POST requests" after pressing Back in my browser. Is Signal broken?

No. That message comes from the Microsoft sign-in screen, not from Signal. It typically appears after using the Back button repeatedly during sign-in. Close the tab and open Signal again, or sign in from a fresh tab.
