# Switch between Table, Map and Split

Choose how Empire View displays your assets: as a table, as a map, or both at once.

### Before you begin

View mode buttons are not available on a phone. Mobile always shows the table as a list of cards.

### Steps

1. Click **Table**, **Map** or **Split** in the toolbar.
2. **Table** shows the asset list as rows. **Map** shows the assets on a map. **Split** shows the map on top and the table below, with a divider you can drag to resize either one.

### Notes

* Your chosen view mode and, in Split view, the divider position, are remembered for the rest of your browser session. They reset the next time you open a new session.
