# Manage model manuals

Review, open, download or remove a model manual from the Model Manuals table.

### Steps

1. Open **Documents**, then click the **Model Manuals** tab.
2. Find the manual by its title, filename or brand and model, in the table sorted newest first.
3. Click **Open in new tab** or **Download** to view the file.
4. Click **Remove** to delete the manual. Confirm in the browser's own prompt, "Remove manual {brand} / {modelCode}?"

### What you see

The table's **Brand / Model** column shows the brand and model the manual is scoped to. If a manual is missing that scope, this column shows "Unassigned model scope" instead, and the manual will not reach any asset automatically.

Removing a manual takes it off every asset that inherited it. This cannot be undone from Signal.

Removing a manual shows "Removed manual {label}." on success. If removal fails, Signal shows the server's error message or "Delete failed."

### Notes

With no manuals uploaded, the table shows "No manuals found. Upload one to make it available to every matching asset."
