# When spare-sales data is unavailable

If your organization's sales data has not been connected, Signal shows a message in place of the Spare Sales chart and table.

### What you see

You see this on the desktop Dashboard, in the space where Spare Sales normally appears. On your phone, Spare Sales does not appear at all, whether or not sales data is connected, so you won't see this message there.

This message means Signal has no spare-parts sales records at all for your organization, not that there were no sales in the selected time window. If your organization has some sales data but none in the window you picked, Spare Sales still shows, with a $0 total and no chart or table.

### What still works without it

* The Hunting List still ranks and shows assets. Without purchase history, it scores them by install age instead.
* The orientation cards and Empire View work the same either way.
