# Read revenue trend and last order

The Revenue Trend pill and Last order date summarize a customer's recent purchasing pattern. This page explains where those values come from and when they are not available.

### Revenue trend

Signal can label a customer's trend as Rising, Flat, or Declining, based on sales data your organization's system sends to Signal. On a customer's own page, this label does not appear next to their name today, even when trend data exists. Use the Revenue Trend chart further down the page instead.

On the customer list, cards and table rows show the trend label when a value is present. If a customer has no trend value on record, no label appears for them, and they will not match the Rising, Flat, or Declining filter options.

### Last order

Signal calculates a customer's last order date from the most recent spare-parts sale recorded across all of their equipment. The customer's page shows this as **"Last order:"** with a date, and a count of days since that order, when a date is known.

> **Screenshot placeholder:** the Revenue Trend chart on a customer page with **1Y** and **Value** selected, for a customer with connected sales data.

### The Revenue Trend chart

The chart on a customer's page builds each bar from spare-parts sales matched to that customer, going back up to two years. Use the **3M**, **6M**, and **1Y** buttons to change the time window, and the **Value** / **Count** toggle to switch between dollar totals and number of orders.

{% hint style="info" %}
If your organization's sales data has not been connected, this area shows: "Connect ERP or log orders to see revenue trends."
{% endhint %}

### Where you see it in Signal

Revenue trend labels appear on customer cards and table rows on the customer list. Last order and the Revenue Trend chart appear on each customer's own page.

### Notes

* The Revenue Trend label next to a customer's name on their own page does not show today. Check the chart below it for the same information.
