# Edit a facility

Update a facility's name or address after it changes, such as a new street address or a corrected postal code.

### Steps

1. On the customer's page, find the facility and click **Edit** in its Facility Information card.
2. Update the **Facility Name** or any **Facility Address** field.
3. Click **Save Changes**. The panel shows **Saving...**, then closes and shows the updated details.

### Notes

* If a customer has no facilities of its own, Signal shows one default facility named after the company. Editing that default facility updates the company's own name and address, not a separate record.
* If you do not see **Edit**, or saving fails with a permission message, your account does not have the permission to edit this facility. Ask your administrator.
* If saving fails for another reason, Signal shows an error message. Try again.
