# Show or hide empty fields

Use this to shorten the Technical tab to only the fields that have data, or to see every field a card supports.

### Steps

1. Open the **Technical** tab. A line near the top reads "Showing all fields" or "Showing populated fields".
2. Click **Hide empty fields** to switch to only populated fields, or **Show all fields** to see every field again.

### What you see

* A small set of core fields on each card, such as Flow Rate and Temperature on Operating and Design Conditions, or Material of Construction on Asset Properties, always shows even when hiding empty fields. Everything else on that card is hidden if it has no value.
* Basic Information always shows all its fields.
