# Technical tab

The Technical tab holds an asset's specifications: identity fields, operating and design conditions, and construction details. Service managers and sales reps use it to check what equipment a customer runs before a visit or a quote. Anyone who can open the page can edit these cards; Signal checks access again when you save.
