# Read the header at a glance

The header stays visible above every tab on Asset Detail. It tells you what the asset is, where it sits and its current status, before you open any tab.

> **Screenshot placeholder:** the Asset Detail header for an asset with a customer, facility and install date, showing all four summary cards with values.

### Identity and status

* The serial number appears as the main heading, in a monospace font. If you have editing access, a pencil icon next to it opens **Edit Asset Details**.
* A colored status badge shows one of six values: **Online**, **Offline**, **Out of Service**, **Abandoned in Place**, **Removed** or **Unknown**. Any status Signal does not recognize, including a blank one, shows as **Unknown**.
* Below the serial, a line shows brand, model code and equipment type, for example "Tusk TX-400 · Pump".

### Customer and location

The line under the identity row shows, when the data is available:

* The customer name, as a link to that customer's page, or "Customer unavailable" if none is assigned.
* The facility and area.
* The install date.
* The owning organization and the facility that owns the asset, when your organization uses hosted ownership.

Any item without data is left out of the line.

### The four summary cards

Each card is a button that opens the matching tab.

| Card            | Shows                                                                                                | Opens                                                         |
| --------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Last Order | The date of the most recent order matched to this asset's serial number, or a dash if there are none | Orders |
| Maintenance Due | How soon the next maintenance is due, or "No schedule" if there is no plan | Maintenance, only when your organization has that tab enabled |
| Est. Revenue | Revenue from spare sales matched to this asset | Orders |
| Stock Alert | The number of parts in the asset's bill of materials, or a dash if there is none | BOM & Stock |

### Notes

* Last Order and Est. Revenue are calculated from the same sales records shown on the Orders tab, so the two always agree. If your organization's sales data has not been connected, these cards show a dash and the Orders tab shows its own empty-state message.
* The Maintenance Due card only opens the Maintenance tab when your organization has that feature enabled. Ask your Zephyr Intel contact if you expect to see it and do not.
* Stock Alert counts parts in the bill of materials. It does not show live stock levels.
