# Activity feed

The **Recent Activity** section on the Overview tab lists the most recent events logged against an asset, newest first, up to the last 20.

### What each icon means

| Icon                  | Event type            | Shown when                                                |
| --------------------- | --------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------- |
| Shopping cart         | Order placed          | A sale or order was logged for this asset.                |
| Package               | BOM updated           | A part was added, edited, imported or removed on the BOM. |
| Document icon         | Document uploaded     | A file was attached to this asset.                        |
| Wrench                | Maintenance completed | A maintenance event was recorded as done.                 |
| Gauge                 | Conditions edited     | Operating or design condition fields were changed.        |
| Calendar              | Event scheduled       | A future event was scheduled for this asset.              |
| Generic activity icon | Other                 | Any event type not covered above.                         |

Each entry shows a short description, then who made the change and when, for example "Jane Diaz · Mar 3, 2027, 2:15 PM". Changes made by automated system processes do not show an actor name, only the date and time.

### Notes

If nothing has been logged yet, this section shows "No recent activity." with the note "Activity will appear here as orders, documents, and maintenance events are logged."

If the feed fails to load, it shows "Failed to load activity" with a **Retry** link.
