# Filter by brand

Use the Brands filter to focus every card and table in Analytics on one or more equipment brands.

### Steps

1. Click the **Brands** field above the tabs. A dropdown opens with a **Search...** box and a checkbox row for each brand, showing how many records match that brand.
2. Type in the search box to narrow the list, or scroll to find a brand.
3. Check one or more brands. Signal updates every card and table on the current tab right away.
4. To remove one brand, uncheck it. To remove all of them, click **Clear selection ({n})** at the bottom of the dropdown, or click the **X** in the field.

### What you see

* Up to three selected brands show as pills in the field. Choose more, and the field shows **+{n}** for the rest.
* Text to the right of the field reads **Showing all brands** when nothing is selected, or **{n} brand(s) selected**.
* If no brand matches your search, the dropdown shows **No options found**.

### Notes

* Your brand selection applies to both the Aftermarket Analytics tab and the Install Base Analytics tab. Switching tabs keeps the same brands selected.
* Changing the brand selection resets every table back to page 1.
* Brands with blank or placeholder names are left out of the list.
* This feature may not be enabled for your organization. Ask your Zephyr Intel contact.
