# Analytics overview

Analytics gives you two views of your equipment and sales data: a sales tab and an install base tab. Both tabs cover the same brands and model codes, and both share one Brands filter.

> **Screenshot placeholder:** the Analytics page on the **Aftermarket Analytics** tab with the Brands filter, the three ranked cards and the top of the Model Performance table. Capture on an organization with connected sales data.

### The two tabs

A segmented control at the top of the page switches between them:

* **Aftermarket Analytics** (the default tab): sales performance by brand and model code, including best sellers, revenue leaders and growth trends.
* [Install Base Analytics](/analytics/install-base-analytics.md): how many units of each brand and model your organization has in the field, which customers hold them, and which spare parts to stock.

The page subtitle changes with the tab to describe what you are looking at.

### The Brands filter

One **Brands** filter sits above the tabs and applies to whichever tab you are viewing. Choose one or more brands to narrow every card and table on that tab. Clear the filter to see all brands again. Switching tabs keeps your brand selection.

### What data feeds each tab

The Aftermarket Analytics tab uses your organization's spare-sales history. The Install Base Analytics tab uses the equipment assets in your Signal account, including their bill-of-materials data.

### Notes

This feature may not be enabled for your organization. Ask your Zephyr Intel contact.

If your organization's sales data has not been connected, the Aftermarket Analytics tab shows its empty-state message instead of sales figures.
