# Find an organization

Find an organization to view or change its products, ownership policy, hosts, and lifecycle status.

Who can do this: Zephyr staff only.

### Steps

1. Open Organization Admin and click **Organizations**.
2. In the **Find an organization** field, type the organization's name or short name.
3. Click **Search**, or press Enter.
4. Click a result to load that organization. Each result shows the organization's name, its short name in parentheses, and its status.

### What you see

Once you select an organization, the overview shows:

* The organization's name and id.
* A status pill: **active**, **offboarded**, or **merged**.
* Short name, products, invited-data ownership policy, and lifecycle controls, described on the other pages in this section.

### Notes

* If your search finds no matches, the results list does not appear and no message is shown.
* If the organization fails to load after you select it, Signal shows the error in a red panel instead of the overview.
